ABS comes from a Cineography abbreviation of which there is know certain interpretation yet. Ansonia is one possible origin. The Market Reports entries used "retail market" as the source which could indicate the author bought them at the New York book store although he was based in Seattle. Ansonia did sell by mail with the one available brochure selling the Junior Cadets series and some Falcon films.
