Join star Ettore Tosi on the road from Barcelona to Naples and discover 11 diamonds in the raw! 3 European countries, 3 HOT action scenes, and 6 tantalizing screen tests!
This video is a combination of genres. It's a first-time-on-camera movie, plus gonzo, since the characters sometimes talk to the camera. It's also a kind of casting video with solo screen tests like a lot of companies are packaging into videos these days. Unlike those others, however, Lucas Kazan, known for his beautifully photographed Italian epics, produces this one. Kazan's turned over the direction of this video, to his favorite performer, Ettore Tosi, who also appears in the film. There's no plot to speak of, just a lot of cute boys -- eleven to be exact. There are three hardcore scenes among all the solo action. There's also lots of beautiful scenery and some interesting interviews. Our opening scene has handsome Edardo Souza whacking his chorizo on a beautiful cliff by a beach in Spain. Smooth-bodied and with a nice dick, Edardo shows off for the camera, but before he comes we switch to an interview with Edardo and Lucas Foz, which is intercut with what seems to be their first meeting: Lucas writhing and groping himself on the cliff while Edardo looks on in his white cowboy hat. Brush up on your Spanish (not one of the Emperor's languages); there are no subtitles. Lucas has a nice big dick as befits a tall, lanky Spaniard, and he really gets into whacking it. It's so thick his hand won't go around it. Unlike Edardo, Lucas comes. The two never do anything together, though.
After a brief montage of scenic views of Spain and the South of France (set to opera music), we see Ettore auditioning Tiziano Cortese, a genuine beefaroni -- being that he's Italian and all. Tiziano has a fantastic body, and as we learn in his interview, he's a stripper. He has some kind of weird tattoo all over his lower abdomen -- it looks like a bunch of leaves and bugs -- but he has a nice, big dick that matches the rest of his muscles. You may remember Tiziano from his brief solo scene in "Hotel Italia." Anyhow, Tiziano whacks his meat in a picturesque courtyard to some jolly classical music. Once again, it's interrupted by an interview, where Tiziano tells us he's an exhibitionist (no kidding), great in bed, and engaged. This interview has subtitles. When it's over, Ettore sucks away on Tiziano's cazzo (that's Italian for dick). He beats off to a gooey climax.
Next locale: Bologna (Ettore sure is taking a strange route to Naples). We're introduced to a nice couple, Marco Merisi and Fabio de' Rossi, who walk about Bologna's famous loggie with their arms around each other (perfectly acceptable practice for young men in Italy). Ettore is stalking them, and he's joined by Rafaello.
We see Ettore conducting a nude photo shoot of Fabio while Marco and Rafaello beat off on a couch. Somehow we feel that isn't proper protocol in a photographer's studio. At least not if you're a bystander. Marco is kind of tough looking; Fabio is slender and twinkish, and Rafaello is slender and cute. Soon the two on the couch are helping each other out. Of course, when Fabio goes to work on Marco, that changes. He really enjoys sucking Marco's fat cock, and Marco enjoys it too, moaning and writhing and forcing Fabio's head down on it. There's no music here; just the natural sighs and slurps. Marco shoots while Fabio nibbles his balls.
Interview time! All three give some vital statistics along with some remarks, and then Rafaello gets fucked by Marco's fat dick while sucking Fabio. Ettore is still snapping photos. Rafaello stays hard, and Marco really rams it into him. Fabio and Marco change positions briefly before everyone shoots big loads. Ettore pronounces himself satisfied.
Our next couple, Daniele Barbareschi and Flavio Rossini, provide the best sex in the video. They're evidently real-life lovers, since their segment starts out with the interview and their telling how they met (when one asked the other for a cigarette on the bus -- while Daniele was on his way to his girlfriend's). Flavio is classically Italian -- black hair, Roman nose, receding hairline, muscular and macho. Daniele is smaller but cute -- perky yet masculine. The two kiss and soon their shorts are off and Flavio's chowing down on Daniele's medium-sized cock. They're doing it in the kitchen, by the way. And did we mention "Bolero" was playing? We expected Bo Derek to come prancing in. They're soon 69ing on the counter while Flavio probes Daniele's hole with a finger. But playing against expectations, it's macho Flavio who bottoms. There's a great view when Daniele first enters his ass and Flavio's dick has a big drop of pre-cum on it that gradually oozes to the floor. The way Flavio grimaces, you'd think it was his first time, but he takes it like a man. (They're still in the kitchen, by the way.) Only Flavio shoots, messing up the kitchen cabinet.
Well, Ettore's finally made it to messy Naples. In case you didn't know, Naples is sort of the Pittsburgh of Italy -- only bigger. And older. With pasta. We get another scenic travelogue with music, and the video concludes with a number of interviews and solo scenes. Ciro Caputo informs us that he's married, but enjoys affairs with men and women, and that men give better head. Then he spanks the monkey for us. He's attractive enough, but neither his dick nor his body are anything to write home about. Gennaro Grimaldi tells us he's "crazy for pussy," but also that "sex is a 360-degree thing." He's sitting on a couch with Roberto Ruggiero, who's engaged. Gennaro has a beautiful face and a big dick, but chews gum while he whacks, which makes him seem as if he's thinking about something else, like making a pizza. Roberto is muscular with long black hair; all his muscles are standing out nicely while he masturbates. At one point Gennaro stares at his dick like he wishes it would go away. (Unfortunately, watching straight boys talk about fucking women doesn't do much for the Emperor, and that makes up most of the interview portions of the scene.) Gennaro finally comes, still chomping on his gum, followed by Roberto. The last guy, Francesco Storace, has a charming grin and a little more charisma, but seems nervous. He comes quickly. In his interview he talks about pick-ups at the train station while he was in the army in Florence. And that's the end.
As casting and gonzo films go, this is definitely above average, largely because no one scrimped on the photography and technical stuff. The guys are nearly all cute, and if you like Italians, you'll really love it. The Flavio-Daniele scene packs some heat, and it's nice to see some hardcore action with the solos. The photography is excellent, as in all Kazan's productions. It's enjoyable hearing these guys' stories and practicing our Italian listening comprehension. (We have a lot more motivation when the speakers are hunky Italian boys talking about sex.)
Special DVD features: Digitally remastered, Dolby stereo sound, easy-to-navigate menus (presented in four languages: English, French, German and Spanish), full-motion chapter index, slide-show gallery, a behind-the-scenes chapter (featuring a photo session of Ettore) and previews of three Lucas Kazan titles "American Holidays," "Across the Ocean" and "Hotel Italia").
A DVD Review by The Porn Empero
It's a mix that's just about guaranteed to create success - hot men in stunning locations, sculpted torsos and hard, long cocks and solo, twosome and group play. But with The Road to Naples, what should have been a guide to the hotter side of European life is instead a beautifully filmed but nearly passionless film.
Directed by and starring sexy stud Ettore Tosi, The Road to Napless wasfilmed on location in France, Spain and Italy. With such lush exteriors and hot interiors to draw on, not to mention the support of producer Lucas Kazan and a 13-stud cast, you'd have expected much more than a film of mostly masturbating poseurs.
There's no doubt Tosi has a nice style as a director and performer, and The Road to Naples does have a nice, clear look to it. But the plotless wanderings fail to have the stunning visual images of Across the Ocean, a Kazan production starring Tosi, and the cast of largely straight men fails to do more than titillate.
Built loosely around a "screen test" format, with long interludes between adult play featuring Tosi interviewing actors in subtitled Italian, The Road to Naples features several masturbation scenes and three action sequences. The first two solo scenes are nicely filmed in outdoor locations, and the performances (OK, the bodies) of Edardo Souza, Lucas Foz and Tiziano Cortese are pleasant to look at. Cortese is especially hot, with his muscle boy build and fat prick, but the scene definitely picks up after a short interlude when Tosi sinks to his knees to blow Cortese to a hot climax.
The next scene, following an endless setup, is the only truly hot one in the film, in which a photo session with Fabio de' Rossi, Marco Merisi and Raffaello turns into a hot three-way. Merisi takes the top duties here, and he is a pleasure to watch with his nice build, long cock, short, dark hair and stubbled chin. Merisi takes great head from de' Rossi before shooting the first of two huge loads, then fucks Raffaello, first in the mouth, then in the ass, both with hard, fast strokes that you'll feel at home. It's a shame Tosi failed to capture such heat elsewhere in his travels.
The next scene also has some hot moments, as macho studs Flavio Rossini and Daniele Barbareschi turn necking into some hot 69 action on a countertop. Barbareschi is especially hot here, first taking head before pounding his big meat into Rossini, leaving the bottom squirming and moaning in an obviously enjoyable mixture of pleasure and pain.
The last quarter of the movie is more masturbatory filler, with Tosi interviewing four hot studs before watching them pleasure themselves, two in one scene but individually. Of these men, only Gennaro Grimaldi brings any heat to his performance, and it's easy to see how Grimaldi showed up in Across the Ocean, playing two action scenes in that Kazan feature.
Overall, The Road to Naples is a pretty uneventful journey, lifted only by one hot scene that's not quite hot enough to hang around for. Tosi deserves an A for effort, but a little more focus and better use of the hot bodies would have made this road trip more memorable.
