Fairbanks review: “Prison For Life has Robert Rikas as a prisoner writing of his experiences during confinement and is supposedly based on a true story…[The film] would have worked better had Davian not padded the picture with redundant pairing of models and a lot of wasted footage of Rikas running through the streets of Manhattan. But the strong plot does prevail in spite of attempts to muddy it with inconsequential. As the new prisoner who is repeatedly raped by his cellmates (and even the guards), Rikas is credible though somewhat overblown. Others in the cast are not called upon for anything more than sexual gymnastics.”
