The first thing I noticed about "Unleash the Beast: Part 2" was that it has an entirely different cast than the first installment. The second thing I noticed was musclebound newcomer Randy Jones (center cover model, flanked by Eddy Ryan and Janos Volt). He's a tough-looking S.O.B., to say the least. I think I'm in love. Anyway, he shows up in the final scene, so more on him later.
As the first scene opens, two bent-over hotties, Renato Bellagio and Fred Goldsmith, are being royally plowed by Oliver Madsen and Tom Jank as the two bottoms take turns sucking Gary Malkovich's long prick. It should be said that just recently, swarthy and very well-built Renato was a strict top -- not anymore! Here, his hairy crack is being shoved full of cock, and he seems to really enjoy it, too. As each scene passed, I found myself thinking that director Borbély really has a knack for finding just the right men for these scenes, throwing big slabs of beef surprisingly on top of cocks when you least suspect it and the guys never seem to tire. This sequel is as good as the original, and like the first installment, "Unleash the Beast: Part 2" features a large and exceptionally good-looking cast with great production values and some terrific sex.

For viewers who liked Unleash the Beast, the follow-up will prove to be manna from heaven. Like the original, Unleash the Beast, Part 2 is a leather film that focuses more on the gear and garb of the scene than on the S & M action generally associated with it. Set in a candle-lit dungeon, it features 17 hot and hung Hungarians, all decked out in harnesses, boots and motorcycle jackets but whose high-energy sexplay is not so much different from that in most of the films from Eastern European director Csaba Borbely.
The first of four scenes features a quintet of young men rutting away in the first of the three tableaux that comprise the scene. The action centers around two familiar veterans, that compact little banty rooster Fred Goldsmith and the hairy Renato Bellagio, both of whom are versatile sex dogs. Here both bottom, Goldsmith for the goateed Oliver Madsen, Bellagio for Tom Jank, a tall, handsome brunet who obviously loves to fuck. Presiding over them is a bald, illustrated man, Gary Malkovich, who is covered with tattoos and whose professional name has been aptly chosen - he is a dead ringer for mainstream star John Malkovich. In the second tableau, Goldsmith rides him in a lap-fuck that is highlighted by the bottom's effortless delight as he bounces through a very bumpy ride. The other three pose in a standard menage position: Jank fucks Bellagio, who simultaneously sucks Madsen. Janks powers this grouping with his focused intensity; he fucks and kisses as if the acts were life-sustaining but does not suck cock. In the final tableau, Goldsmith and Bellagio sit to jack each other off as the other three stand at one side do likewise. Jank's convulsive money shot is by far the best of the scene.
A three-way in five positions (or tableaux) comprises the second scene. It features Soto Donovan (more widely known as Thierry Golyo), the striking Donald Jarrott and notable Italianate newcomer Joss Harmon. All are harnessed and barefoot. The ubiquitous Donovan seems to be in every Eastern European film made these days, and there is a reason for this. He is focused, hung, ever-erect, versatile and one of the noisiest moaners in a cast of high-decibel performers. He starts things off by sucking the other two, then shifts for them to return the favor. What's more, all three are strong top men and both Jarrott and Donovan equally effective bottoms. Harmon is especially torrid - he kisses, sucks and fucks with intuitive skill, and the high point of the scene is the tableau in which he and Jarrott take turns fucking Donovan, flat on his back on the cold stone floor, his legs akimbo. All three money shots are strong, but Jarrott's single slash of spooge all the way across his thigh takes top honors for the scene.
The third sequence focuses on a large dog's cage in which we first see dark, curly-haired veteran Jose Ganatti (who also works as Albert Jarat). A prisoner of lust, he is chowing down on the big boner (shoved through the wiring) of the cover-boy-sleek Anthony Okamoto as stubbled Ted Ashton stands at one side jacking off and urging them on. Ganatti has long been a flawless performer in a wide variety of films, and here he remains the center of attention for the two tops. Newcomer Okamoto is a real looker, and in this, his first time out, he is intermittently ill-at-ease and thus far has a very limited repertoire. But he simmers with a sexual heat that suggests it will boil over in his next outing. He is especially arousing as a dirty talker - even though we can't understand a word he is saying - and his raunch rap seems instinctual and spontaneous. He wears a pair of chaps with his hefty meat sprouting out of them like a magic mushroom. Both the others fuck Ganatti, and Okamoto shifts from one position to another with the ease of a pro, though he has yet to kiss, suck or touch another man's cock onscreen.
The most arousing scene has wisely been saved till last. It features a sextet all garbed in leather paraphernalia. The scene starts at a wall of glory holes where skinhead Randy Jones puts veteran Janos Volt through his paces servicing the four hard cocks that protrude from the various holes. The erections belong to blond Andreas Harris, the impish Eddie Ryan, and two newcomers, Edward Gilliam and Frank Miller. Soon the glory hole action shifts to a tower tableau in which Jones stands on a table to be sucked by Ryan and Miller while Harris on his knees below services them. Jones, a nasty master wielding a cat-o'-nine-tails, drives the scene. When the action shifts to the fucking, Volt and Harris once again prove themselves to be superb bottoms, and in particular, Harris's twitching, upright cock as he rides Jones's shaft in a squat-fuck is absolutely memorable. And in the final tableau, as the tall-dark-and-handsome Miller drives into him in a scissors fuck as they sprawl on the floor, they provide the hottest moments of the film.
Although the settings and costumes are basically the same, none of the players have been recycled from the original, and Unleash the Beast, Part 2 seems like an extension of the first tape - as if director Borbely were saying, "Oh, you liked that? Well, here's some more of the same." The men are enticing, the genitals are oversized, the energy level is high, and the videography first-rate. Most of the scenes, however, linger onscreen a bit too long, especially because of Borbely's trademark device of dissolving from one tableau to another but not providing much variety within each grouping. Although his settings are always striking, and he has a great gift for finding spectacular performers, his sexual choreography is becoming more and more formulaic with each film. Still, the fresh meat tends to make it all worthwhile, and in this instance there are newcomers Tom Jank, Anthony Okamoto and Frank Miller to provide fresh eye candy.
