Dirk Yates has seen thousands of naked, young servicemen throughout his career, a tough job, but certainly Big Daddy couldn't be expected to cover the Midwest and the West Coast. Those familiar with Yates' Private Collection Videos know that the prolific producer corners the market on San Diego servicemen. Many men have gotten off watching his unrehearsed, "home movie" style videos.
In Straight Service, some of the elements of Yates' Collection videos are utilized. Yates is partially seen oncamera and heard offscreen as he interviews three of his favorite models, Luke Savage, Tom Adams and Mason Jarr. But, unlike the dudes in Yates' other videos, Savage, Adams and Jarr now qualify as porn stars.
In the interview portions interspersed throughout the movie, there's a little too much fawning for my taste, as Yates proclaims the "hours of enjoyment" that Savage has provided audiences. Savage we learn, is being discharged from active service after his C.O. received an anonymous package containing "samples" of his off-duty work. Other shocking secrets revealed include the notion that they guys are making the movies for the money and that wives and girlfriends may not be 100 percent supportive when they find out. Use the fast-forward and get to the sex, which is nothing short of heaven.
The pairing of humpy Savage with trim Emilio DiMedici is first-rate. The setup is suppose to be that DiMedici has never had sex before a camera before, and Savage is showing him the ropes. That the lean DiMedici eventually ends up fucking the daylights out of the strapping marine is pure porno irony. There's plenty of action here, with DiMedici and Savage both slurping each other's ample boneage and eventually spilling gobs of jizz.
One of the steamiest scenes recreates Mason Jarr's story about two fellow servicemen (played here by Sandy Sloane and newcomer Joey Candy) who were going to out him, only to be caught by Jarr getting it on in the base latrine. Sloane has a nice piece of meat and well-manicured pubes. After this video, everyone will want some Candy, with his taut tummy (his belly button is pierced) and sexy dark eyes. Sloane takes it bent over the sink and then gets his turn with Candy's bright pink pucker hole. The camera zooms in for what could double as a colonoscopy as Candy's ass gets reamed. Sloane shoots, no, gushe, a big wad of goo as he sits on Candy's cane. Candy works up a sweat and a load with a ride of his own on Sloane's pole.
The guys go their separate ways after the interview with Yates. Jarr ends up in the tape duplication room, where he gets into a little dubbing action with technician Dillon Pierce. Pierce rides Jarr without losing his own bone-rod and actually moves his ass on and off Jarr's fat, upturned schlong. That's the beauty of a cock that stays hard during work hours!! The camera zooms in, and we see furry thighs and holes, matted with lube.
In the final scene, Tristen plays a little butt bingo, winking his furry hole to the audience at Yates' Web site. Of all the actors, Tristen most strikes me as being in the true spirit of Yate's other films. It's obvious or well-acted that Tristen is not worldly in the ways of gay sex. When he's joined by Tom Adams on the bed, you sense that he's a little nervous. He "knows" it feels good but is afraid to know why. Tristen tentatively sucks Adams dick with the precision of an archeologist, savoring the feelings and the textures that many gay men take for granted. Adams laps at Tristen's hole, and then Tristen gets "the look." That sweet look of pleasure/pain, as the sheets crumple beneath his solid hands, bracing himself for Adams rod and taking it like a trooper. I'm guessing that from the wad he shot, Tristen enjoyed it as much as we did.
