Outlaw? Vagabond? Mirage? Who or what is cowboy? Moreover, unlike its predecessor, the title gives but a clue. "Cowboy Rides Again" is a big, sexy expanse of muscle erotica. The production values are top-notch with lots of sophisticated touches, hot-as-hell sex, and sexy men that are buff and hung.
After a prologue, "Cowboy Revisited," summarizing the storyline of its predecessor, "Cowboy Rides Again," um, walks. Ambling down a dusty road, hiking and looking sensational, the man of mystery is, not Caesar, but Billy Frank. Billy is a corn-fed looker with short-short hair and a smooth muscular body. Trespassing, he is confronted by ranch hand Robert van Damme. After a brief exchange, and I mean brief, about being on private property, Robert and Billy lock lips for an aggressive bout of kissing. All trespassers should be so lucky. Robert is a Czech muscle god with looks, body and dick to spare. Billy drops to his knees to deep-throat Robert's dick, and Robert does the same, revealing a huge honker on Billy. Robert, an excellent cocksucker, makes lots of eye contact with the interloper as he slurps before twisting him around to eat out his ass for a spell. The rimming begets fucking, Robert porking Billy's smooth ass from behind and atop a worktable. Billy crouches before Robert to pull himself off, and Robert splashes his big load right on Billy's broad chest and smiling face. Off like a rifle shot, naked, Billy runs off the property like a gazelle.
Chad Conners, a hunky hitchhiker, is picked up by Latino horn-dog Rocky. Rocky gives him a lift and some advice on how to find work (he's a ranch hand, it seems, at the ranch now owned by Brad Rock). At any rate, Chad is eternally grateful for the advice, and decides to have sex with Rocky to show his appreciation. Chad looks AMAZING here. Amazing. I think he's of perfect musculature and symmetry. And Rocky, who looks as fine as ever, tight gymnast's build and cinnamon skin in full effect, works the blond over like crazy. They trade blows, Rocky rims Chad's big muscle-butt, and then Chad fucks Rocky in a variety of positions on and around a patch of stage-set hay. They pump out their loads, and Chad then skulks about the ranch. The plot thickens.
Chad, after having fucked the crap out of Rocky, now has full access to the ranch, so he spies on the owner of the ranch, Brad Rock, as he enjoys a muscle worship session performed by Jay Poison. Brad is a macho brunet with piercing blue eyes, and an even more piercing cock. Jay, a hulk of a man with long hair and a big ghetto booty, struts his stuff for Brad, posing and flexing to Brad's commands before dropping to his knees to suck Brad's truly gorgeous dick. Jay is cross-eyed with glee as he goes about his task, and, as he sucks the hard bone up and down repeatedly, he pulls apart his asscheeks for the camera's inspection. Throughout, Brad is a dirty-talking fool, promising to fuck Jay, face-fucking him, etc. Very hot lead-up to the fucking, indeed. Jay then rims Brad's lily-white butt for a bit, and then Brad bends big Jay over the side of the sofa and fucks his jockstrap-clad ass but good. Brad fucks him for a long while before pulling out and dumping his load on Jay's butt. Brad, a big man himself, totally dominates the even bigger Jay. Surprising, and hot and hell.
Ranch hand Robert van Damme spots drifter Chad Conners near a big tree and gives him the "private property" spiel, as he is wont to do, and like Billy Frank before, Chad finds the confrontation an irresistible invitation to chow down on Robert's pretty dick. Robert then sucks and rims Chad before doggy-fucking him on a plaid picnic blanket under the shade of a 200-year-old tree. Yet another man of mystery appears. This time it's Frank Shaft, a black man who resembles actor Richard Roundtree of "Shaft" fame, hence the surname. And, much like the man he's named after, he's a bad shut-yo-mouth. Frank has a yummy dick that is just huge. He watches from afar, near a pile of logs, stroking and stroking that big black log of his to climax as Chad and Robert do their thing under the tree. Chad pops on the blankie, and Robert squirts his on Chad's humpy chest.
"Cowboy Rides Again" is a winner from Mr. Blake. It's as good as the first, and bit more polished. And the ending is a shock (and too delicious to reveal here).
DVD features: Chapters; cum-shots chapter; gallery; behind-the-scenes footage; trailers ("Cowboy" and "Musclemen Moving Company, Inc."); and no regional coding (playable worldwide).
A DVD Review by Butch Harris
In this sequel to director Blue Blake's smash hit, another mysterious drifter (Chad Conners) turns up at a sprawling, secluded ranch populated by musclebound slabs of male beef. Murder inevitably follows bouts of sucking and fucking in this lightly amusing flick. Muscle fans in particular will not want to miss Conners or Big Blue exclusives Jay Poison, Frank Shaft and Robert Van Damme.
Caesar was the first film's Cowboy, whose final appearance on the doorstep of the ranch, with ax in hand and a murderous glint in his eye, did not bode well for his character's participation in the sequel. He can comfort himself with the GayVN Award he won for Best Actor (as well as a Grabby nomination) because his character is shot to death, offscreen, before the opening titles roll.
First up, buzzcut hiker Billy Frank (a notable newcomer) encounters an impatient Robert Van Damme (another newcomer who shares box cover billing with Conners) and is "forced" to his knees without much foreplay. Van Damme's English is heavily accented, but his intentions are clear. Frank proves himself a skilled cocksucker, and the men attack each other with gusto; you'd think Van Damme would be a strict top, but he swaps plenty of spit and blows Frank as well. As for that oral action, give him credit for effort, as Frank's cock is alarmingly huge. Think Michael "Monster" Brandon territory, with a heart-stopping curve. Rimming (by Van Damme) is desultory, then Frank is fucked in several positions. He moans appreciatively and submits to a wet facial from Van Damme.
Conners is next on the menu as he accepts a lift from Rocky, who drives him to the ranch, which now appears to be haunted by Caesar's vengeful spirit (insert your own "Great Caesar's ghost!" joke here). Conners is bulked up tremendously from his early Falcon days (although he has slimmed down from his recent turn on the bodybuilding circuit). He's also more relaxed and confident in front of the camera, which helps lend an air of mystery to his laconic drifter. Rocky is likewise appealing with firm, tanned skin and not an ounce of body fat. Their sex is acceptably good, and they look great doing it, but the chemistry doesn't quite click. The muscle worship is quite hot, though, with Conners training his sizable guns on Rocky as the latter blows him.
Brad Rock is a Blue Blake discovery who has not worked nearly enough. After some time away, he returns more at ease in front of the camera. His character has purchased the ranch and has yet to notice that people seem to be dying all over the place. He's paired with Jay Poison, an eye-popping bodybuilder with a deep-brown tan who personifies the phrase "built like a brick shithouse." Rock wanks himself as Poison poses and flexes in a white jockstrap. More, please. Poison then sucks off Rock creditably well and bends over as Rock plows his muscular, meaty globes. He doesn't reciprocate or cum, however.
Final scene outdoors pairs Conners with Van Damme, as the former demonstrates his legendary bottoming skills. Van Damme's golden skin and cut physique are attractively photographed, and his thick sausage looks great disappearing into Conners' plush ass. African-American Frank Shaft, aptly named, happens by and strips for a quickie wank as the two men fuck up against a tree.
The door is open for another sequel after Conners reveals his connection to Caesar, but Blue Blake has directed himself into an odd corner: Virtually the entire cast is killed (again!) on this ranch that is more hazardous to life and limb than Camp Crystal Lake or Elm Street.
Technical credits, including videography and editing, are smoothly professional, although a theme song over the opening and closing credits sets an incongruously romantic tone. In particular, muscle fans will not want to miss these prime specimens of beef.
