"He was straight ... to his wife. He was a married man who had them all. First the chauffeur (while ELO, the Bob Seeger, plays on the radio), then the houseboy, also the actor, and finally the gardener- who saw it all." The plot is actually more interesting than that. A gardener picks up a drifter (Wrangler) on his way back to work at a mansion, and they have sex out in the garden. Wrangler has this corny Arkansas accent (which he loses during sex), and the two are caught in the act by the wife. But the gardener has witnessed her husband making it with several men, including himself, and so he tells the wife in order to save his job.

Although the movie credits Steve Scott as the director, he was actually brought in to edit it.

Dragonfly notes:
The 35th anniversary edition of this classic is not the original version anymore. Catalina Video only kept the Jack Wrangler song and the dialog in between scenes and replaced the rest of the original soundtrack with a new music soundtrack. The track used for the last scene is so syrupy that [some may want to watch it] without sound turned on.

[The film was supposed to be shot in a Hollywood mansion but they were allowed less than 3 hours to used it when they wanted 13 so they had to move to an apartment. There it was tinted red to simulate firelight and the camera was loaded backwards, both of which left the film under exposed. Jack Wrangler insisted on singing a song for the movie that he wrote, but was being very difficult. When Higgins went to market it, he was told that Wrangler was passé and ended up selling the movie for little money. Steve Scott was so overbearing on the production that Higgins never worked with him again.]
