Trevor steals the movie from everyone else, but does stop long enough to let everyone at least attempt to take their moments. With everyone working this hard, "Inn Over His Head" actually settles on firm ground.

In the recently released Inn Over His Head from Adonis Pictures, the magnetic Trevor Knight continues to carve a major niche for himself in gay adult films. As the star of this paper-thin, four-sequence trifle about a sex-crazed desk clerk at a gay hotel, he blazes his way through his two scenes as if carnal excess were the most natural thing in the world. Part selfish hedonist, part generous lover, he can be the essence of unbridled lust, but he can also be a paradigm of tender ardor. He is a good-looking man (though not a classic beauty); he has a well-defined body (though not a steroid-enhanced physique); and he sports an enviable erection (not average, by any means, but not unmanageable either). What makes him such a special screen presence, though, is his attitude -- there is always a glint in his eye that constantly seems to see both the joys and the madness of the human animal in heat, even as he hurls himself into each maelstrom of man-sex.
Inn Over His Head begins as the hotel manager (an uncredited cameo by director Ross Cannon) threatens to fire Knight for having relations with the guests, and the star manages to resist temptation until the second scene, wherein he yields to the invitation of baby-faced Damon Phoenix to eat something besides a sandwich on his lunch break. Their matinee in a storage room wastes no time on preliminaries, and Knight is in total command of the situation from the instant he pulls Phoenix to him for a mouthful of kisses. Both are topnotch oralists, suckling, slathering and deepthroating with ease, but it is Knight's talents at eating ass that make the scene soar.
Furthermore, he is one of the most adept, enthusiastic tops around today, reveling in pleasuring himself but at the same time never forgetting his partner. He fucks Phoenix with deep, confident strokes and skewers him in three different positions, all the while whispering sweet nothings to the kid, until at last he literally drills a load of cum out of the boyish bottom. After this third explicit scene ends, Knight returns for the fourth. In time, Knight returns the favor in another round of throat-bruising oral action followed by an equal-opportunity 69 followed by another banquet of ass-eating. (Knight does seem to delight in analingus -- he simply gorges himself on Kirra's sweet little sphincter.) This appetizer, of course, soon leads into the main course, and Knight once again demonstrates his prowess in a multipositioned drilling of Kirra, whose fluctuating grins and grimaces say it all. The sequence ends with Knight fucking a feathery flurry of cum out of his partner, then lying back to be brought off by Kirra's hand. Knight's geyser-like pop shot, is -- no surprise -- the best of the film.
The other two scenes, unfortunately, do not approach the power of the two just described. When offscreen, Knight is sorely missed. The opener features blond, boyish Kyle Aames (whose twink image is at odds with his wispy moustache and goatee) and lanky brunet Caleb Carter (with "Carter's Monster" tattooed across both his buttocks), a couple who dive for each other, even before Knight reluctantly leaves their room. From the outset, there is no question who is going to give and who is going to get. The anal action is as formulaic as the oral, the vanilla raunch rap seems forced, and though Carter is a ravenous bottom, Aames has to work overtime to keep up with him. Both money shots are copious, but there is nothing special about the sequence.
The third scene, set in the sauna, is the only three-way of the film. It features Lars Svenson, a tall blond newcomer, Park Wiley, a long-term veteran, and Tyler Austin, a shopworn cherub who remains largely peripheral throughout. Svenson, a much better sexualist than actor, is a preening poseur who readily offers up his uncut erection to the other two and provides each with a rough round of double-time face-fucking. Old pro Wiley services him thoroughly, Austin less so, but they do bring Svenson to a no-handed ejaculation before the fucking begins. Svenson fucks ass much as he fucks face, quick and nasty, so it is quite a surprise when the scene ends with him on the bottom of a standing doggie fuck sandwich (Austin into Wiley into Svenson). All three money shots are strong, but there is little chemistry among the three actors, and it's all but impossible to forget that they are just models earning a buck.
Knight, who also wrote the screenplay for Inn Over His Head, has clearly devised the project as a showcase for himself, but as author, he should have given himself more screen time and also included a scene demonstrating his versatility, for he is the primary reason to watch it. Already a significant name in adult films, he here clearly shows his star power by making extraordinary a film that is otherwise quite ordinary.
