At a time when many companies have discontinued their lines of solo films, Falcon Studios has jumped in to fill the breach with the first volume of a promised series devoted to the joys of self-gratification. The umbrella title is Alone With, and the initial collection features such favorites as Colby Taylor, Daniel Montes, Nick Riley, Kristian Alvarez, Johnny Brosnan, Spike, Matthew Rush and Jeremy Jordan. Like almost everything Falcon does, it is top of the line, with first-rate performers, simmering sexual heat, sleek production values and ingenious camera work.
The hour-and-a-half collection begins with Falcon veteran Colby Taylor, who speaks briefly with the off-camera interviewer, telling when and where he likes to jack off, and then proceeding to demonstrate. He awakens in a bed covered with white sheets, throws off the comforter to reveal his already rockhard erection and begins a leisurely morning session in which he toys with his cock in a variety of ways: Caressing it, fingering it, spitting on it, manhandling it ambidextrously and finally taking it in a full grip to bring himself to orgasm. He seems inordinately fond of his cockhead and lavishes particular attention on it.
The second soloist, sultry Daniel Montes, dispenses with the interview. He is first seen in an outdoor shower, water streaming down his angular face, lithe torso and already tumescent cock. Soon he adjourns to a nearby hammock and sprawls there to pleasure himself. For this reviewer, the sequence was one of the two high points of this anthology.
Fourth up is brunet Kristian Alvarez, whose session, by contrast, proves to be the least interesting. He performs in a matter-of-fact manner, working his cock and shaved balls in a diffident way. At one point, he rises to his knees to vary the monotony, and his money shot is not only modest but captured from the wrong angle.
Johnny Brosnan, the glamorous star of Out of Athens, is next before the camera, and he discusses with unbridled enthusiasm his journey into adult films. On a big double bed, he then strips out of his sport shirt and jeans and slips his hand into his briefs. Little by little, we begin to realize that he is watching himself in a mirror, and though the double reflection is not used to maximum advantage, he is such an interesting performer that the scene still soars. He fondles his cock, milks it, slaps it into his palm, flaunts it freestanding and ultimately chokes it to orgasm. Unlike most of the others, he also spends a certain amount of time stimulating his balls and his ass, and he plays as much to the camera as to himself.
The legendary Spike is in the sixth position, and he talks briefly about his favorite ambience for jacking off - in front of a roaring fireplace, sprawled against the hearth. In this setting, he slips out of a black velvet bathrobe and begins to attack his baseball bat of a dick. He uses both hands simultaneously at virtually all times, and if his believable moans and groans are any indication, he clearly is capable of floating away to find the spots and rhythms that give him the most satisfaction. Needless to say, his five-geyser money shot is the best of show, and it rains all over his chest and face.
The seventh vignette features blond bodybuilder Matthew Rush, who possesses much the same sort of easy masculinity and charisma as Ken Ryker. (Anyone who takes off his pants before his shirt is a natural for this business!) He has an inviting face, golden hair, piercing eyes, pillowy lips, a firm jaw, a gym-built physique, a plum-headed dick and glutes that beg to be penetrated. He is the find of the film, and we cannot wait to see him in a full-action scene.
The final episode features bottom-boy blond Jeremy Jordan experimenting with a variety of customized dildos from the Falcon pantry, and though he seems strangely self-conscious for someone who has worked so frequently in the business - he giggles a lot - he certainly proves to be the best endorsement for the effectiveness of the various dildos. He also tries a couple of buttplugs and drops his load while skewered on the biggest dildo of all.
Over the years, this reviewer has concluded (from unofficial, personal surveys) that most pornophiles fall into one of two groups: Those who love solo action and those who loathe it. Rarely is there any middle ground, and for those of you who do not usually respond to such sessions, Alone With provides a strong second chance to change your mind. If you do not like these solos, it is hard to imagine any solo performed under the sun that might get you off. This is as good as it gets.
